Hello

My name is Alice. I am a maker and roboticist from Bristol, UK, currently based in Saarbrücken, Germany.

At the core of my pursuits is a fascination with interfaces - the boundaries between us, within us and around us. How we interface with technology, other beings and ourselves. On a social level, these interfaces define our ability to communicate across space and time. They are becoming increasingly less and less tangible and more and more virtual, but I like to bring things back to earth and back to our physical bodies. My work (and play) currently revolve around the following themes...

> community <
People-oriented practices, workshops and projects.

> research <
Investigating how human interactions can be mediated by technology.

> craft <
Making, designing and playing, using both traditional and modern techniques.

Please note: This website is not fully up-to-date and I am not currently on social media - this year I have been re-evaluating what internet presence I would like to have and prioritising more tangible interactions. The best way to find out more about what I am up to now is to get in touch! I'd be happy to hear from you.
